The Small Paths Template makes a 3 1/2″ finished block and is perfect for using charms square collections.  A free pattern, Small Paths, is included.  I’m using this template for the first time to make a mini table topper.  My charm pack has just 25 pieces, which translates to 25 blocks.  The finished topper will be 15″ x 15″ if I don’t add borders.  All the pieces were cut in just 15 minutes.  I’ll let you know how the sewing goes!

While merely piecing the curved blocks randomly creates an interesting quilt,  Many Paths All Around shows the versatility and the possibilities of the curved block if you use a specific layout.  Each block is 16″ square and is comprised of 16 4″ blocks made with the Drunkards Path template.

It’s a memory in the making, Me and Grandma in the Garden planting flowers.  This 9″ x 12″ (unfinished) redwork block can be framed and considered done, or make the rest of the Grandma and Me blocks for an entire quilt of twelve blocks all about “me and Grandma”.

Not to leave anyone out, here’s one of the Me and Grandpa blocks.  This, also, could be a simple little wall quilt, or part of a larger six block quilt all about “me and Grandpa”.

Irises for Grace is a beautiful wall hanging measuring 24″ x 42″. The flowers look three dimensional, don’t they?  These irises can also be a part of a larger quilt (86″ square) of the same name, Irises for Grace quilt pattern.

Nostalgic Fruit and Veggie towels will bring a smile to your face… and to anyone who enters your kitchen!  Cute sayings are on each of them appropo to the fruit or veggie shown.  Choose to stitch as redwork, match the towel border, or the color that suits the fruit or veggie.  These would make a great hostess gift.

One block of a large quilt called Nature’s Beauty, Roses Block #9 lives up to the claim.  Batiks would shine in all the blocks of this quilt…. lots of variations in color – just like in nature! Other blocks in the quilt include baskets, lilies, tulips, birdhouses, and more.

Designs by Alene also has a pieced Christmas table runner, a few combination pieced and appliqued holiday designs, plus a few patterns for practical items.

Flowering Trellis has instructions for three flowers: clematis, rose,and morning glory.  Make a wall hanging, a table runner, or a banner.

Garden Trellis by Evonne Cook of Clothesline Quilts showcases beautiful appliqued flowers scattered along the edges.  Lovely floral fabrics in varying shades have green sashing that simulates a trellis.  Instructions are included for three different sizes.

Blooming Vine from Anka’s Treasures has pieced flowers surrounded green leaves on a white lattice.  Make a queen size, a wall quilt, or a table runner with the included instructions.  I’d love to see this with a light blue background.

Choose white, a solid color, or a wood grain look for your Garden Trellis.  Add your favorite blooming fabric and you have a beautiful garden inspired table runner to brighten up any room! This D Hall Designs pattern is 16″ x 35″.

Garden Trellis BOM will keep you stitching for quite a while making a beautiful piece of art for your wall, or for your bed.  Twelve apppliqued flowers, each on a square in a square block, give the quilt an on point setting look. Two tone sashing is woven to resemble lattice work.

Go ahead and sew up a flowering trellis…. you’ll never have to worry about watering!

Each month you’ll get a quilty package delivered right to your door with fabric (yum!) and a block pattern.   Everything you need for that month’s block will be right there in one package.  Open it up and dive in or pack it away for that month’s sewing get-together.

If you’ve never done a Block of the Month before, now is the time to start!   You’ll finish a fantastic quilt a bit at a time.  A quilty package will arrive every month.  All the fabric will be chosen – no need to try figure out what goes with what, and no need to buy a 1/4 yard when you only need a little piece.  What’s not to like?!

Each month you will receive your block pattern and all the fabrics needed for $16.95.  Easy enough to made just one block a month, right?  When you are finished you’ll just need to purchase backing and batting (even the binding is included in the kits!).  

But, each month, you will also recieve a bonus pattern for a wall hanging that uses that month’s block.   That’s 12 quilt patterns!   If you make each wall hanging each month you will have plenty of Christmas gifts ready for next Christmas with no pressure, just fun!   Or keep a few (or all of them!) and hang one or two in the bedroom that uses the quilt and you can change them every once in a while.  

The block of the month ships around the 3rd week of every month and is billed when shipped.   If “someone” hasn’t found the perfect gift yet and wants to get you a really nice Christmas gift, but not pay for it all at once…. this just might be it!

Sunflower Hill is a country village of five Sunflower themed houses along with Sunflower and Crow applique blocks and a picket fence border.  The instructions are for machine piecing and fusible applique.   Quilt finishes at 70″ x 70″.  If you like country charm this is it! 

Lovebird Lane is just too cute!  (I’m currently working on two BOMs but I’m so very tempted to start this one also – I don’t think I’ll be able to hold out much longer!)  The pretty blue lovebirds go about their day busy with gardening, special deliveries, tea, and quilting.  The blocks and the pretty tulip border are easy piecing with no templates.  This one finishes at 72″ X 62″.
