My Camping Gear has instructions for a zippered sleeping bag and a backpack, both sized for an 18′ doll.  The backpack is so cute!  It has a zippered top, pockets on the side and a flapped pocket on the back.

The Backwoods Bungalow works for “camping trips” in the backyard or for pretending in the bedroom.  Window flaps roll up for “air circulation” (and so you can peek inside).  There’s room for two, so dolly can invite a friend to go camping with her.

For the more style conscious doll, here’s a case that will hold her wardrobe when she travels.  It measures 20.5″ x 12″ x 8″ and has an elastic pocket for those loose items.  Also included in the pattern are instructions for an accessories bag with 12 pockets for shoes, purses, etc. and instructions for a garment bag.  Again, so cute!

Today’s post focus was on little projects but, if you browse all the Becky and Me patterns, you’ll see several lap sized and larger quilts… most of them cheerful!

Flower Welcome by Bloom Creek is 12″ x 28″.  Choose your method: fusible applique or hand applique.  A charm pack would be great for this pattern.

A Fine Welcome pattern offers three projects.  Make a wallhanging for the front entry and one for the back entry.  Plus a bonus pillow.  Each item has a folksy, slightly wonky, cheerful look to it.

What says Home more than a white picket fence?!  Hang the Welcome sign and change the picket fence gate for each season.  Both pieces together measure 23″ x 32″.

 For an even quicker makeover, use a quilt fabric panel like this Stonehenge panel.  It measures 24″ x 42″ so sewing two or three together, end to end will make a beautiful bed runner. Then just sandwich and quilt!   Or add fabrics from the Stonehenge line to either end.

Any row quilt can be modified to make a bed runner. Choose your favorite row or rows.  Let them stand on their own or add borders.  Memory Lane has SO many cute options that it’d be hard to decide on a favorite!  The puppies are adorable, the flowers are so pretty, the pinwheels have lots of motion….  go ahead, pick just one!

Grab your colorful scraps for Butterfly Baskets.  Shown here in repro fabrics, this would also look great in batiks, or in any bright fabrics.  Instructions are included for a pillow.

Butterfly Town is a little bolder.  12″ blocks make this a fairly quick and easy quilt.  Three sizes are included: baby, lap, or bed.

The Heirloom Buttefly-Flower is pre-printed and pre-colored.  Just add embroidery!  This makes a great take-along project.

Trade your normal commute to work for Rush Hour Traffic, Beach Style.  Dig into your stash to make these fish that don’t seem to mind the crowd.  All the gentle curves add wavy motion, and the button embellishments add dimension and whimsey.

                                                                                           Here’s another stash project.  Over a dozen flip flops surround the beach blanket that holds everything a beachgoer might need. Linda Zokan of Thistledown used batiks in Beach Walk and they look great!

How about a giant Fancy Flip Flop Pillow?  The kids will love these!  Take it to the beach (the straps make it easy to throw it over your arm or shoulder leaving your hands free to carry all your other stuff) or use it inside on the rainy days.  There are endless design possibilities!
